Description
Party wings, seasoned and fried to perfection, then coated with a delicious homemade buffalo sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 Lbs Wingettes
- 3 Cups Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tbs Butter
- 1/2 Cup Frank’s Original Redhot or Lousianna Hot Sauce
- 3 Tbs Ketchup
- 1/2 Tsp Seasoning Salt or 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 Tsp Crushed Red Peppers (Optional)
Instructions
- Pat the wings dry and season them well.
- Place a skillet or medium-high heat, add in the oil, and preheat until hot.
- Add half of the wings, and fry for 15 minutes and until they’re brown on both sides.
- Sit them on a cooling rack once done.
- After all the chicken is done, remove oil from the skillet and clean it well.
- Â Place the same skillet over medium heat.
- Add in the butter, and once it melts, add in the hot sauce and ketchup.
- Stir well, then add in the wings.
- Reduce to low heat and toss the wings until they’re all well coated about 2-3 minutes.
Notes
- If you’re making this recipe for a large gathering, you can triple or quadruple the recipe. You should only double the amount of oil though.
