Description
Party wings, seasoned and fried to perfection, then coated with a delicious homemade buffalo sauce.
Ingredients
2 Lbs Wingettes
3 Cups Vegetable Oil
2 Tbs Butter
1/2 Cup Frank’s Original Redhot or Lousianna Hot Sauce
3 Tbs Ketchup
1/2 Tsp Seasoning Salt or 1/4 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
1/4 Tsp Crushed Red Peppers (Optional)
Instructions
1. Pat the wings dry and season them well.
2. Place a skillet or medium-high heat, add in the oil, and preheat until hot.
3. Add half of the wings, and fry for 15 minutes and until they’re brown on both sides.
4. Sit them on a cooling rack once done.
5. After all the chicken is done, remove oil from the skillet and clean it well.
6. Place the same skillet over medium heat.
7. Add in the butter, and once it melts, add in the hot sauce and ketchup.
8. Stir well, then add in the wings.
9. Reduce to low heat and toss the wings until they’re all well coated about 2-3 minutes.
Notes
If you’re making this recipe for a large gathering, you can triple or quadruple the recipe. You should only double the amount of oil though.
