Description

Tender juicy flavorful baked steak. The perfect main dish for a romantic dinner of 2.


Ingredients

  • 1 Lb Boneless Chuck Steak
  • 2 Small Red Potatoes, chopped
  • 1 Cup Onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup A1 Steak Sauce (optional)
  • 2 Tsps Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tsps Minced Garlic + 2 Tsps Garlic Juice
  • 2 Tsps Seasoning Salt
  • 1 Tsp Parsley Flakes
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 Tsp Thyme
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1.  Slice the steak, while frozen, into smaller pieces of your desired amount.
  2.  Once dethawed, poke a lot of holes in the steak with a knife, then add to a medium bowl.
  3.  Add in all the Worcestershire, minced garlic, and garlic juice.
  4.  Add in all the seasonings.
  5.  Chop up the onions, add them to the steak, and toss everything well.
  6.  Cover with plastic wrap and set in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 4 hours.
  7.  Preheat your oven to 350.
  8.  Place steak in a baking dish, add the water, and cover with aluminum foil.
  9.  Bake for 1 hr then remove.
  10.  Add the A1 steak sauce to the baking dish and stir it into the liquid.
  11.  Chop up each red potato into pieces of 4, add them to the baking dish, cover with aluminum foil.
  12.  Bake for another 30 mins, then remove.

Notes

If you want a thicker gravy and crispier steak, take the aluminum foil off after an hour and bake uncovered for another 45 more mins
