Description

Tender juicy flavorful baked steak. The perfect main dish for a romantic dinner of 2.


Ingredients

  • 1 Lb Boneless Chuck Steak
  • 2 Small Red Potatoes, chopped
  • 1 Cup Onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup A1 Steak Sauce (optional)
  • 2 Tsps Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tsps Minced Garlic + 2 Tsps Garlic Juice
  • 2 Tsps Seasoning Salt
  • 1 Tsp Parsley Flakes
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 Tsp Thyme
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1.  Slice the steak, while frozen, into smaller pieces of your desired amount.
  2. Add to a bowl with a couple quarts of water and a couple tablespoons of salt, vinegar, or lemon juice and soak for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Scrub, rinse, then pat dry.
  4.  Poke a lot of holes in the steak with a knife, then add it to a medium-sized bowl.
  5.  Add in all the Worcestershire, minced garlic, and garlic juice.
  6. Chop up the onions and add them to the steak.
  7. Add in all the seasonings, and toss everything well.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and set in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 4-8 hours or overnight.
  9. Preheat your oven to 350.
  10. Place steak in a baking dish, add in the water, and cover with aluminum foil.
  11. Bake for 1 hr then remove.
  12. Stir the A1 steak sauce into the steak juices.
  13.  Chop up each red potato into pieces of 4, add them to the baking dish, and cover with aluminum foil.
  14.  Bake for another 30 mins, then remove.

Notes

If you want a thicker gravy and crispier steak, take the aluminum foil off after an hour and bake uncovered for another 45 more mins
