  • 1 Tbs Butter
  • 11/2 (24oz) Jars of Mushroom Pasta Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Green Bell Peppers, finely chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbs Red Bell Peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbs Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tbs Minced Garlic
  • 4 Tsps White Sugar
  • 1 Tbs Seasoning Salt

  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 Tsp Tony’s Creole Seasoning
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
  • Parsley

Instructions

  1. Place a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef and sausage until it’s no longer pink. This should take about 10 minutes. Make sure you chop the meat up until it’s nice and fine.
  2. Drain the fat if any is leftover in the pan, which there typically is a nice amount of.
You dont have to remove every drop ok? Lol! Just remove most of it!
  3. Chop up the onions and peppers and add them to the meat along with the minced garlic!
Chop the vegetables into relatively small pieces unless you like them otherwise.
  4. Add in all the seasonings (except the Tony’s and parsley), stir well and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add in the sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and the sugar, then stir well.
  6. Cover with a lid leaving a small crack to the side and let it simmer for an additional 10 mins.
  7. Fill a pot with water, add a little salt, and oil, then place it over high heat.
  8. Once it comes to a boil, add the spaghetti, and cook until al dente.
  9. Add in some butter, a little seasoning, like garlic powder, and garnish with parsley flakes.
  10. Combine the spaghetti and meat sauce if you want or you can serve them separately.
