Description
“Pork Ribs seasoned to perfection and baked in a sweet honey bbq sauce”
Ingredients
- 2 Lbs Pork Ribs
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 2 Tsps Butter
- 1 Cup BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Honey (optional)
- 2 Tbs Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Liquid Hickory Smoke
- 1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Tsps Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1/8 Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Remove membrane from ribs.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and melt your butter in the microwave for a few seconds.
- Add the melted butter, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce to a bowl and mix together.
- Add BBQ sauce and liquid smoke to a bowl and mix together.
- Place ribs in a baking dish and pour melted butter mixture over both sides of ribs.
- Sprinkle seasoning over both sides of the ribs.
- Pour BBQ mixture over both sides of ribs.
- Add in the water, then cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 1 hr.
- Remove aluminum foil, brush the ribs down with the honey, and bake uncovered for another hour.
- Once done, brush ribs with thickened honey bbq sauce.
Notes
If your ribs are very meaty, you may have to bake them covered for longer than an hour to get them tender. So if after an hour, you find that they’re still not tender enough for you, continue baking them covered for another 30 minutes
